Our $80 adoption fee will pay for the following:
For all pets
The mandatory spay/neuter, a one year rabies vaccinations appropriate to their age, micro-chip and a vet check. This mandatory spay/neuter is in accordance with Tennessee State Law 44-17-502.
For all dogs
The first in the series of distemper/parvo vaccinations and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccination.
For all cats
The first in the series of feline distemper vaccinations.
Pets can be returned
For exchange or full refund -- within five days after adoption.
Our adoption fees are in partial reimbursement for our costs of treating and caring for our animals. Our actual costs are much more than the fee -- we try to cover these costs with private donations.

Incoming animals
There is a $20 incoming fee for pets brought to the Adoption Center, or $35 fee for a mother and her nursing babies. We must charge these fees because we receive no city or county funds.
Please note because we are a "no-kill" facility, we are not able to take all offered animals. Let us know if you have an animal you need to turn in. Our priorities are those who we can place relatively easily and quickly.
